Looking to make some this weekend.

Anyone have a killer recipe?

No recipe. I just make it to taste. Lots of onion and chili powder. Rotel and tomato juice.

Who has the good chili recipes?

3-4 lbs meat (beef, sausage, hot Italian sausage, etc)
1 15 oz can red beans
1 15 oz can black beans
2 28 oz cans tomatoes, crushed or whole
1 6oz can tomato paste
1 large yellow onion
1 green pepper
5-6 garlic cloves
4 chili peppers
1 tbsp of each - paprika, cumin, garlic powder, salt
1 tsp chili powder
1/2 tsp of each - black pepper, cayenne

Chop veggies and saute` with olive oil in pan until onions are brown. Brown meat in pan with veggies. Dump meat and veggies and rest of ingredients in pot and cook 1-2 hours.

Also use 1/2 hamburger and 1/2 breakfast sausage

Adding in a can of beer doesn't hurt. Helps make the meat more tender.

Steak, rib eye or filet, Boudin sausage and ground beef.
Any leftover smoked meat like brisket.
A dried hot pepper of some sort.
Cocoa powder.
More garlic.
Brown sugar and or maple syrup.
Crushed red or cayenne pepper.

All good additions.

I always add a bottle of chili sauce to mine..........

And yes,I say mine rivals most anyones.
