Pivotal game for the Broncos. With a loss, they would drop to 2-2 with a tough schedule remaining. This would also move the Chiefs up with a two game pad over the rest of the AFC West. They would be difficult to catch at that point.

The Chiefs are a better football team. I think the Broncos defense will keep it close early on but talent will eventually prevail, unfortunately. Since the game is in Denver, the Broncos will benefit from home field advantage but I see the Chiefs taking this one.

Mahomes has been impressive and the no fly zone is just not the same with Talib gone and the other players seem to have lost a step or two. We'll see if Von Miller and company can get to the QB but it's gonna be tough. I hope it's a competitive and exciting game!

For me, I want to see some young players on D for the Chiefs get more of a chance in Kpassagnon and O'Daniel. Ford has a groin issue (he'll play, but not 100%) so I'd like to see more. LB's and Safeties have primarily been the downfall of the D in pass coverage, so replacing once of those troublespots with a competent cover-backer in O'Daniel would, in theory, be a noticeable impact.

The Chiefs currently have the best DAVE in the AFC despite the worst defense thus far. They get anything from the D and they are in very nice shape before the trade deadline; and there are other options besides Earl Thomas out there if the Chiefs want to make a move bad enough to supplement a SB run. The Chiefs already have two wins I pegged as losses, including over the Chargers, so I think they can absorb an oopsie on the road, but I expect a win here. Denver's secondary isn't good and the Chiefs OL's strength is passblocking.

Historically I think turnovers are always the major factor in games with the Broncos but Im not sure either team here is all that fantastic at forcing turnovers. This one will come down to which team can run the ball better if I had to guess.
