The Rangers replaced Adduci by adding infielder Luis Sardinas from Double-A Frisco. Sardinas received the promotion because he was the only available player on the 40-man roster. He is expected to return to Frisco on Friday, when third baseman Adrian Beltre is eligible to return from the DL.

Happy Easter to you too but are you seriously that concerned about the A's this early in the season? I mean it seems like you post about them more on here than the Rangers. At this point it sort of seems like you keep talking about it to be intentionally annoying... not that it bothers me at all... I just can't see how you could really care about the A's right now. We are playing the best ball we have all season and we are doing it without a lot of our starters. Too long of a season to get caught up in the standings. Teams have only played a handful of series and we really don't know who is for real and who is not yet... that will probably all be sorted out by the ASB

The big question is what happens when Beltre comes back. Kouz has earned a spot in the everyday lineup at least for the time being but unfortunately that comes at the expense of AB'S for Choice and Moreland. The later of which has also been pretty hot.

Wash will go to a platoon with kouzmanoff and Moreland and choice will rot on the bench.

The Rangers would be in first place if they were in the AL East or the AL Central. Oakland has given this team a lot of trouble the last few years. Granted, we have had significant injuries every year and the A's have not. I just think it's worth keeping an eye on them. We need the Astros to not go 3-16 against them like last year, but they are already heading down that path. I'll quit with the Oakland updates. I admit, I do get a kick out of people on here being so upset by it.
