If someone in the media puts something in quotes and states that Charles Jackson said it.............then Charles Jackson HAS to have said it. Otherwise the Jackson family can sue the Omaha World Herald. It's called libel

I have been interviewed what seems like hundreds of times. I can promise all of you that I don't get quoted exactly how I speak. I had a lengthly interview done about me recently in a local newspaper. I talked with a reporter on the phone for like a half an hour & we just shot the shit. I knew it was going to be in the paper but, again we were just talking. I KNOW I didn't say what I was quoted as saying. I didn't record the interview, nor was I upset with the interview.

The media tries to portray what they believe is the objective. People get misquoted all the fucking time. For those who think the media makes honest mistakes, they're wrong. They assume things aren't recorded & shape things the way they want them to be said.

Jackson's dad never said anything bad about Dirk in that interview on 1620. Jackson's dad was banging on ESPN and how they portrayed the story on "college football live".

I don't know really why people are even carrying on with this...........Bo apologized to the Jackson family and told them he "kept information" from them. He has admitted to it..........and that is that. He admits to making a mistake......he apologized for it. I really doubt in the future that you will see the same thing happen again.

It was a mistake by Bo, the kid was pissed but was still coming here, Bo apologized.

Anyways, I am going to lose this argument no matter what I say..........Bo could come on national tv right now and say he kept information from the guy and I would still be wrong.........if there is one thing that I've learned about Husker fans (including myself), it's that we are all stubborn bastards
