The defense seems to be getting it together at the right time. People wrote them off, even after two solid performances against the Texans and Raiders to close out the regular season. People wrote them off since it was just the Texans and Raiders, fair enough, right? What people missed in writing them off was that they held the Texans and Raiders to numbers below those teams average outputs. To come out today and do the same thing to the Chargers is a big step forward for this unit.

All season long there has been talk about how bad the Broncos defense is. I think the defense is tired of hearing it.

Texans and Raiders can run the ball well and Broncos D finished the season #7 against the run.

They had a much better performance against the Chargers compared to last time.

Not scared of LeGarret Blount.

I called it. McCoy's knowledge of Manning and the offense was used against them today. LOVED all the neutral zone infractions by the Chargers.

Also, great pressure with minimal rushers. 4 sacks with at least one off three man rush. Fumble was total B.S., and can't blame Manning much on the INTERNET.

If this defense shows up again next week, could be a long game for NE.

I cant keep from laughing when I recall how many times it worked against them too...how stupid do they have to be not to realize that something was obviously going wrong with that plan.

There was a reason we didn't resign Jammer at the end of last season.....but to what end? Our secondary is not a whole lot better without him. Go destroy the Pats. As much as I hated losing yesterday, I love Manning and would watching him annihilate the Patriots.

If I remember right didn't the Chargers' players say something about how McCoy had keyed them in on how Manning likes to do the hard count so they were able to get a better jump on the ball? If so looks like Manning heard them loud and clear!

Here's something interesting. Manning had the highest passing total of all QB's who won this week, and he was 4th overall. All three QB's who passed for more yards than Peyton lost this week.

Moreno and Ball will be VERY important to our title hopes as the postseason goes along. We keep them going, while stopping the opponents' RB's, and we have a great shot at hoisting the Lombardi.
