Hell of a game. They sure did make it interesting, but we pulled it out.

I can't believe it with Phyllis going nuts in the 4th quarter and making it a little nerve racking. Our defense was amazing through 3 quarters, and this really shouldn't have been that close IMO.

The gopher got Deck again too.....WTF? Dude gets green in front of him and he falls apart.

Great game by the defense today! They gave up too much in the 4th quarter, but they stoned the Chargers offense up to that point, so they had a little room to breathe. I knew the Chargers would make it interesting in the second half (they always do, it seems), especially when they went into the locker room with momentum. But overall, the defense came up big. They were put in some tough situations with the 2-0 turnover ratio, plus the onside kick. They still held a good Chargers offense to under 300 total yards. I'll take that all day, every day.

The defense seems to be getting it together at the right time. People wrote them off, even after two solid performances against the Texans and Raiders to close out the regular season. People wrote them off since it was just the Texans and Raiders, fair enough, right? What people missed in writing them off was that they held the Texans and Raiders to numbers below those teams average outputs. To come out today and do the same thing to the Chargers is a big step forward for this unit.

All season long there has been talk about how bad the Broncos defense is. I think the defense is tired of hearing it.
