he could but every swing is attempting to drive the ball thru the back left field wallIf he could hit to left field he would demolish Ted Williams' .406

and he still wasn't using the whole fieldWhen he struggled so much earlier, one of the things he was trying to do was to reduce his launch angle. That really messed him up.
I think he is a GM in training, and that might be the best way to handle the situation. With his lack of experience it would not have been wise to throw him to the dogs right away. Then why have Chris Young around at all?
When he has had success in the past he didn't use the whole field then either.and he still wasn't using the whole field
Because it takes some of the criticism away of JD. Who do you think he's going to blame if things don't work out in a couple of years. Then why have Chris Young around at all?
Kennedy is the only one that has been mentioned as available.
Do the Rangers have any relievers available? None are coming to mind at the moment.
well maybe he should. one way to beat the shift is to hit where they ain'tWhen he has had success in the past he didn't use the whole field then either.

Looks that waySo JD brought in a scapegoat to throw under the bus publicly?
Looks that way
97+ hours and then we’ll see. Except for our usual low-level trades for the PTBNL, I’m beginning to believe we do nothingDoesn't really make any sense to me, but stranger things have happened I suppose.
I hope you’re wrong97+ hours and then we’ll see. Except for our usual low-level trades for the PTBNL, I’m beginning to believe we do nothing
Now you're talkingI hope you’re wrong
I want to see a star studded minor league system with plenty of free money left to use on free agents
I have a hunch Gallo remains a Ranger for the simple reason he and Boras think he is worth more than anyone wants to pay. His stats are hard to justify as a hitter.
Sure he wants to stay but at what price.I don't think we can really say that about Joey. All he's said publicly is that this is where he wants to be and doesn't want to leave. Boras is Boras so we can assume he would push for a giant contract. But I can't accuse Joey of anything at this point beyond wanting to stay in Texas.

Do you mean he stays a Ranger after this deadline or after he becomes a free agent?I have a hunch Gallo remains a Ranger for the simple reason he and Boras think he is worth more than anyone wants to pay. His stats are hard to justify as a hitter.
