When I read Dobson's Bio on Huskers.com it reminds me of reading Cosgrove's Bio when he was at Minnesota. It actually touted his great accomplishments while at Nebraska using NFL players as examples.

Either way, Cotton's not going anywhere. He's a FOB.

I see Bo recovered nicely from tOSU.

I didn't see the show but just read the write-up on it.

Pelini talks Huskers on radio show | sports.omaha.com

Pelini said:
>> A caller asked if “pundits” who claimed that NU’s defenders didn’t align right in the second half were accurate.

“People can say what they want,” Pelini said. “I’ve coached football for a long time, and I’ve coached defense for a long time. And I’ll just say it straight: They don’t know what they’re talking about. Let’s leave it at that.”

This is the change we're looking for? Sounds like the same old crap to me.

"We just got blown out again but don't you dare question me. I know what I am doing".

This just gets me pissed all over again. To those who are expecting something different next weekend an oft quoted line comes to mind, "The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over but expecting different results."

Yea but........we were aligned correctly..........

This was no issue of scheme......this was all about not making plays. We had guys in place to make plays and then they would take the dumbest angles.......or over anticipate......

These are coaching issues 100%.......they need to be taken care of in practice. This is not a play calling issue at all.

And if he wasn't so arrogant he could take the 30 seconds to say just that. Instead he comes off as a pompous jackass who thinks anyone who questions him or thinks something besides what he is doing will work is an imbecile.

The fact is for a few minutes after the game he was humble and one might actually think he was willing to do something different.

He has recovered and the Bo we have come to love and hate is back. We will see the same results, if not next Saturday it will be back this year.

I think the vast majority don't expect any change. It's a FOB system in Lincoln.

If I remember correctly, didn't HWSNBN also tell the media they had no right to question his coaching expertise? ie...They didn't know shit!!

Surround your self with people who will challenge you and you will excel. Create a culture where those around you are afraid to have a different opinion and you will end up looking like the emperor with no clothes.

LOL I used to drink in a bar on 20th and Vinton in South Omaha when I was 16. I can't remember the name of it. Blue somethign I think.

Anyways I joined the army at 18 and was on leave on my 19th birthday and was in there. I asked the guy that owned the bar if he was going to buy me a drink for my birthday.

He asked me how old I was and I told him 19. He looked at me and said no really. I said really and he turned red and told me to get the hell out of his bar.

LOL I had been a regular in there for three years already on the day I turned legal.

I lived @ 20th and Deerpark from 1st thru 4th grade. Went to Vinton Elementary.

I was a regular at a North 'O' bar @ 17..Never carded once.

I don't think they did back then (late 70's) unless you went in with a group of young people.

I used to have cops tell me to take it home and don't let them see me again that night when I got drunk and drove. Those days are gone.

Me and 6 highschool friends got our fake IDs the same day. We found a bar that we all liked and were there 3 nights a week and got to know the owner pretty well. Then came the year we all turned 21, we celebrated all of our birthdays at the same bar after being regulars for 2 years. I was around the 4th one. All he said was "thanks for the business, asshole", and bought me a shot. He was cool about it, still a pretty good friend to this day. Even though he's an Iowa fan.
