it really does. i've experienced that. i'm finding out how to deal with it though. making sober friends and that sort of stuff. i truly am sorry for your loss. i know what he was going through.

Thanks. Believe it or not, I drank for about 6 months from about 23 to 23.5 years of age. I got drunk quite a few times in that time period also. One night after getting smashed, I was laying on my bed and the whole bed started spinning. The next thing I remember I was puking my guts out. That was the final straw for me. I quit drinking before I became addicted to that fucking garbage, and I've been pretty much drink free for the last 30 years or so.

I may still have a small 2 or 3 ounce celebratory drink on New Years night, but that's it.
