Chances Josh Wilson gets cut?

I think its possible hes a surprise cut.

Ive seen some guys on twitter raving about the young talent in our secondary (amerson/minni/crawford)

Is it possible they push Wilson off the roster?

Im all for keeping him, hell the more depth the better, but if he is keeping someone else at a different position off the roster- and the young guys are showing better- he could be a casualty.

I think its a lock these guys make it at CB: Hall, Amerson, Minnifield, Crawford

Also do you think we keep 5 or 6?

Possible. I think he's potentially on the bubble. Some will argue that he may stay due to the fact he reduced his pay this year. But I don't think that will necessarily save him.

I don't see it this year. I think he makes it, starts the season. Amerson replaces him at some point and he is gone next year.

No way Wilson is let go this year however, his role could be reduced to nickel/dime packages relatively soon. These next few preseason games will tell if Amerson is ready to take his spot.

Yes he did take a pay cut, but what everyone here seems to be completely over looking is he received a $1.3 million signing bonus. You don't cut a guy who you paid that much money too.

I dont see him being cut....with his guaranteed salary, we would be paying him even if not on the roster...and..the young guys are playing well...but Minifield still needs to remain healthy....and this is practice and preseaon people...Wilso has proven he can play in the NFL....I believe he could see his role reduced this year, and gone next year, but I believe we keep him, and Im totally ok with that.
