OU could have easily been a 3 or 4 loss team
They overachieved a bit down the stretch....something misfired after the Kansas State loss.

The Baylor win was a miracle comeback for the ages.
Iowa State had them beat down and foolishly went for 2.
The Big 12 title game was overtime.
Even TCU was a coinflip.

They dodged a lot of bullets down the stretch, while the other contenders lost the coinflip games to Arizona State types.
They earned the playoff spot 100%, but the W-L was a bit inflated in close game wins.
