The CFP committee will reveal it's first top 25 tonight and I am pretty excited about it, as it sets up the landscape of how this college football season will finish. Here is my guess as to what the top 10 will look like.

1.LSU
2.Ohio State
3.Alabama
4.Clemson
5.Penn State
6.Oregon
7.Georgia
8.Utah
9.Oklahoma
10.Baylor

Alabama could very well be #2 to keep the hype for this upcoming weekends game being 1 vs 2, but I also think the committee will really like Ohio States product and how good they have looked. Also Ohio State has a little better resume than Alabama at this moment.

I think Baylor gets the nod at the 10th spot because I think the committee will credit the undefeated season, and although I know Minnesota is also undefeated, I think Minnesota will come in at 11. Just think Baylor has played a little tougher schedule than Minnesota. Of course if Minnesota survives November unbeaten they will sky rocket up the ranks, but that is highly unlikely to happen.

The best part is come December, when the conference championship games start to happen, Utah/Oregon will be like a mini playoff game. Winner gets into the playoffs, it's going to be awesome.

The best part is come December said:
If LSU and Alabama both win out besides their head to head I think both will be in the playoff.

My final 4 prediction would be;

Alabama 13-0
Ohio State 13-0
Clemson 13-0
LSU 11-1

IMO, if the committee weighs resume higher than eye test, LSU will be #1. If the eye test outweighs resume, then Ohio State is #1. They have "looked" dominant...even if some discount the resume.

I'm still a believer in Clem. I think they are one of those that play up/down to the level of competition.

I don’t think their Top 5 has matched the AP’s in the opening rankings ever. And I certainly don’t think it will this time.

Ohio Still be #1 without a doubt. I am more interested in the rest of the top 10 outside the top 3. #1 Ohio St. . #2 LSU, and #3 Bama is a no brainer; those are the positions those teams will be in. Its #4 through #10 rankings which will be interesting.

I just wonder how low will Oklahoma and Oregon will be ranked. Do they have a chance of making it? Also, Finebaum said that Alabama HAS to beat LSU. It’s at home, LSU might be the only ranked team Alabama beats, if they do. Not counting the SEC Champs game. Not me say No it, but Finebaum.

If LSU isn't #1, the committee is retarded.

Just an unbiased opinion.

I want to see if the committee uses resumes or just uses past playoff appearances to decide the top 4.

Oregon probably has a 10-15% chance to get in...They lost to the 5th best team in the SEC.

My question would be if Alabama and Oregon both have 1 loss but ones sitting at 11-1 and ones sitting at 12-1 with a conference championship, does the conference championship still matter? Or does that not matter this year?
