Not necassarily the poll is who should be ranked number 4. I think Washington should be ranked number 2. Number 3 at the lowest
I'm assuming the OP was asking this question based on the first 3 spots already being locked in.

Because the Huskies would be a 1 loss team if they win the PAC. Colorado would be a 2 loss team. With a weaker SOS than Oklahoma. If Colorado wins the PAC that leaves that spot dangling. For a team like Oklahoma, OSU, Michigan who has a head to head win against Colorado. Or several other teams who could make a case over the Buffs. Colorado isn't getting in Washington is the PACs only team that can get in IMO
Good point, but I disagree with you on Oklahoma having a stronger SOS than Colorado.

That's debatable the SOS is always changing through databases like Sagarin.Who currently has Oklahoma at 6 and Colorado at Either way I think that Michigan loss kills a 2 loss Buffs chances at a playoff spot. With Michigan and OSU in the mix.

Wisconsin of the eligible teams have the best resume other than Washingon. They are favorite to win the B1G. They played all the elite teams close and and won against some. They could have won against OSU and Michigan. They are easily the most deserving of the B1G teams listed here. No debate.
Who are the some among the elite teams. I think looking back we can say LSU, while a solid win, isn't of 'elite' status...

Ok they have two ranked wins. Better?
My thing is over the last month The PAC is the only conference that has competed with the B1G.As far as number of teams in the top 15. Who's to say Washington shouldn't be ahead of Clemson based on SOS. And the way the season played out.Its a very interesting comparison when you look at it now

Yeah I would agree with voting Washington ahead of Clemson.

Why are you trying to down Michigan bro. I am on your side with Washington. :suds:
I'm not. I think Michigan is real good. But at the end of the day it was clear what they needed to do and they just didn't get it done.

I can't even watch ESPN right now. All the head shaking after listening to them talk. Makes me feel like I'm having a seizure :L

I may be a bit biased when it comes to Michigan. That is who I want to see SC play in their bowl game. But who wouldn't want to see Jackson and Peppers square off. They are two of the most electric versatile players in the game.

As far as the playoffs this is the most complicated year to date. And we aren't even past the CCG's. It may push the 8 or 6 team play off. This year is going to be hell on the committee regardless. Based on their seasons I do find it hard to put Clemson over Washington

Here's something interesting to ponder

WSU loss their first two games to a 10-1 East Washington team and a 10-2 Boise State team by 3 points each.

As a Washington fan I laughed at both of those losses but thinking back now, if WSU had won those 2 games, they would have been 10-0 leading up to the Colorado game.

That would have meant Colorado's 38-24 win would have been over a top 10 ranked team and Washington's 45-17 annihilation of WSU would have been over a 10-2 team as opposed to an 8-4 team.

That would have boosted Colorado's resume immensely and the Washington and Colorado showdown might have been a showdown between two top 6 teams.

Crazy to think that a WSU win over East Washington and Boise State could have changed the entire platform of the Pac-12.

I figured OSUx would be in the running for the 4th slot. It sure as hell isn't in the top 3 if they didn't even win their conference.

washington before ohio state....for Chrissake.

I bet you voted Penn State like a homer.

Actually I didn't. But you just keep rating all of my posts as bullshit when you're the one blatantly contradicting yourself.

I say "not Michigan" and that's BS, when you agree it shouldn't be Michigan. Lol ok.
