We're now 13 games into the regular season... decent sample size.
  • The C's are a very strong 10-3
  • We have the #1 offense in basketball. The veteran guards that this roster boasts are the envy of the NBA.
  • Tatum is on fire... shooting 50% from the field and 39% from 3 pt range.
  • Overall, Boston is shooting 39% from 3 pt range and 84% from the charity stripe.
  • The C's are 3-0 on the back end of b2b's so far.
  • Sam Hauser has been a nice, little surprise... playing in every game, averaging over 15 minutes per, and shooting 46% from 3.
  • Some minor bumps and bruises... Brown and Brogdon both missing a game or two.
  • It's nice to see that the Celtics have sufficient depth to weather these inevitable injuries (so far).
  • Team defense continues to be a small concern.
Let's keep it up.

Yeah adding a guy like crowder and a guy like favors would help.

Sure, maybe...

... but the upshot so far is that this team doesn't really need much help.

I’m baffled at how good Hauser has been.

Guys who struggle In Summer league don’t tend to be the breakout stars

Meh.

That's not something that really "needs" a fix, though... it's more a product of the faster pace, RWIII being out and regular season effort on that end.

He seems to be a perfect puzzle piece addition... what he does well (shoot) will flourish alongside the number of guys in Boston who can break defenders down off the dribble.

He isn’t a breakout star.

He is a catch and shoot role player.

Guys with Hauser’s skill set tend to struggle when they are asked to do more.

I don’t think we’re allowed to post in here anymore haha. Just got caught up on the thread and somebody had a meltdown when the Red Wave didn’t happen.

I thought they over achieved last season and would drop to a lower playoff team in 22, so far I'm wrong, and that's a good thing.

Keep it up.

Nah, this team's better this year.

It helps that Tatum and Brown are smack dab in the middle of their prime basketball playing years...

... they're full on men now, grown into their bodies, doing work...

... and the Celtics are shooting the hell out of the ball right now.

Best offense in the NBA... who'd a thunk it?

They added brogdon. And have a full season of white

Those alone make them better

But Hauser and Kornet breaking out also help

Yep. Best stable of guards in the NBA.

Yeah, even Kornet is chipping in... really something.

Kornet had at least two teams give up on him

Chicago gave up on two reasonably good value centers (IE low cost for decent work) to trade a huge price for vuc instead of adding more wing and shooting talent

Kornet plays defense better than one would think... he has been a perfectly competent back-up 5 option.

Tbh: I expected nothing out of him... so I'm pleasantly surprised.

You and all of us, brother. ;)

Enjoy the ride, though... if C's fans can't be happy right now, the fans of other teams should be suicidal. :D
