Testaverde, Palmer and Collins wouldn't get my vote. Rivers and Bledsoe likely get a yes, but both could have helped their cause by winning a SB.

Everyone else on that list is an easy yes except for the guy at #17. Who is Joe Montana? I've heard of Joe Cool, Joe Dirt and Joe Momma, but not him :noidea:
i have always said bledsoe gets in someday. hes arguably one of the more successful #1 picks in history.

It's a mix of watered down and too exclusive to me. Guys like Schilling and Mussina should be in, guys like Lou Brock and Jim Rice should not.

Rice has that "shooting Star" thing going on as well. You might be a younger fella, but I watched Rice absolutely terrorize American League pitching for close to a dozen years before age and his eyesight started becoming an issue.

Palmer's a very good QB, gets a little under appreciated, but over the past 10-15 years he's been a top 10-15 NFL QB.

Yeah the fear factor. I didn't see Rice play. I can only look at numbers and highlights. The people who did watch him play took 15 years to vote him in and he still barely got in.

Difference being that at least Rice was voted in by the BBWAA. Rizzuto never got over 40% and got in once his buddies got on the Veteran's Committee.

Some things are too obvious before you lose your vote
We are 1.5 years away from someone explaining why they didn't vote for Mariano Rivera. So glad all ballots are public now.

Itll happen...No doubt about it

And it will be defended with the "Relief pitcher" argument

He hated talking to reporters, treated them with the disdain that they deserve and they never forgot about it.

his splits were...bad...and hes more legend than he was "the most feared hitter in baseball". tough guy to get out, at fenway, for sure.

.920 OPS at home

.798 on the road

one of the bigger disparities in the HOF. its amazing...only a 7 game difference between home and road...yet he had 153 more HR at fenway than the road....in 7 games difference.

What happened to Dak Prescott? Last week he looked like hot poopy. It's like he's still a good QB or something. 1/3rd of his career INTs are against the No Fly Zone.

Go Broncos!
