Cap Bumped to $130

The Cap bump seems to be welcomed news for most fans. Always nice to have a little extra to resign your guys. However you got to expect a little inflation on price tags for free agents.

How do you guys feel about the bump? Good or meh?

Good I suppose. I'm thinking that it my be time to increase the roster by a few spots with all the injuries these days,

It balances out. The only people it really effects is people with significant amounts of cash already locked up.

Don't know all teams cap situation, but I think the majority of teams have significant amounts of cash locked up.

What is the Pats cap #s?

126 with 4 extra space carried over and probably almost 10 extra they could clear up (plus theoretically they may get some of Hernandez's 7.5 dead money back, although that is likely to be an uphill battle).

My point is that teams that are over the cap or right at it have less work to do to get maybe one signing. A team with 50 million space probably has less signing ability now with prices slightly increasing.

The Seahawks have some contracts they can dump and this extra bump may allow them to resign Bennett, which is something I hope they can do.

We don't have any WRs we have guys that are listed as WRs but they are not. I am interested in two FA signings for the Pats. From what I saw WR stands for Wicked Raunchy

Talib and Mack. A nice bonus would be Allen

Which is why overall I'm saying I don't think it's going to have a huge impact on most teams. Teams that are over benefit slightly, teams that are way under lose a little signing ability. Overall it's not hugely impact full.

Will he be back? Inflation and all. Seahawks fans argue about resigning Tate. It would seem to me that resigning Edelman is a must do, but then you run into the cap and then questions arise.

I honestly don't see him being that expensive. What will he demand when someone like Welker who was much more established didn't get all that much? I also don't think he's the type to leave for a minor pay bump. A deal can get done.

Both. We had a lot of rookies last year some receivers take a year or two need to see how these guys pan out. Because of that I would rather see them target keeping Talib and signing Mack or Allen or both.

Your talking about Dobson and Thomkins? Both had injuries issues didn't they? I would think that even if they worked out , that the Pats need more depth then these two.
