I've been a pro-Vandy guy ever since I got the pleasure to meet their head baseball coach and a few of their top players in the mid 2000s. Very classy guys. Good school.

But I still wish Damion James went pro last year. Celtics need him.

He's just not that great. I'm quite happy he's not on the Celts

I've said that for years... I was at the Western Mich game and although they won pretty big, I just couldn't help but wonder what this team, and several Vandy teams in the past, could do if Stallings wasn't the man leading the ship.

Stallings career has been a yo-yo. Since 1999 when he was hired at Vandy he has 5 NIT trips, 6 NCAA trips, and 5 seasons that Vandy didn't go to any post season tourney. Arguably his best season was in 2009/10 when they finished 24-9, 12-4 in SEC play, and were bounced in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.

I went to the Florida game and let me tell you, the coaching in the second half was AWFUL! Florida played patient, scrappy offense and defense and Vandy played awful! Coming down and instead of burning the clock and getting a good shot they'd take quick 3's (with a double-digit lead), dribble too much, bad passes, etc. with no noticeable response from Stallings. Was with life-long Vandy basketball fans who make a lot of excuses for Stallings and even they were appalled.

Got my tickets yesterday for aTm and I'm taking my parents, kids and about 10 friends, some of whom have never been to a game. Vandy better play very, very smart and drop the 3's or they're going to get blown out!
