Pay back's a bitch....................

He still hasn't given a reason for Tom Brady's suspension last year......officially. He's allowed the media and the other 31 teams' fans to just call it themselves. I can't believe that he actually passed the BAR.
I thought it was behavior detrimental to the league....

Nope. He never said exactly what Brady was suspended for. He had Vincent make the statement that Tom Brady was suspended for four games for his role in Deflategate. He role was never discussed or defined. The reality was that Deflategate never happened. Once the balls were all removed from the field and tested and retested they all complied with the league parameters for ball inflation. Just as they did in the officials room before the game. Once the balls were brought inside the common ambient temperature of any public building is generally 72 degrees. Once the internal air in the warmed up, they did the natural thing.....expand. Take the balls out into 59 degree weather, they contract. Indoors....ball hard. Outdoors in winter, ball softer.

Sort of like the human factor..... in cold weather, balls pull inside body, In hot weather, balls hang far away from body

THIS IS 40
Tom Brady leaves his 30s on Thursday with his 40th birthday. Looking back on the last decade of his career, Brady holds all of the records for a QB from age 30 to 39.

Not INT's. ;)

And Brees is right behind him in yards and TD's with two more seasons in his 30's to go, so he's not going to have those much longer.

The most important one will probably be his forever, though. :D

Update.....Nastiest Offensive Lineman in Camp..................Ted Karras!!!!!!

Seems Ted took winning a Super Bowl very serious. Lost the little rim of fat and added about 15 lbs of muscle.
He's set on taking away the Center job from Andrews, and anyone whose played across from him in camp has paid the price. Saw a few clips and he's mauling anyone in front of him including the coaches. BB was so impressed he decided to put him at left tackle in an 11 on 11 series of 5 snaps and he put three different DEs on their backs.
It appears we have another Logan Mankins.

We need another Mankins if this pans out this would be real nice

Is all this fact? Sometimes statements are made as rhetoric and later requoted as facts. I not questioning your motives, just if you are sure this is fact.

Vincent was the only NFL Executive to address the original suspension. Brady was never accused by the league office of anything. If anyone can find a media clip of anyone saying that Tom Brady was suspended for a specific
rule or league violation, I'll retract every claim I've made and apologize to the NFL in writing.

This has nothing to do with my "motives"..........I'm not motivated by anything other than the truth.

The ""ONLY"" reason that Brady did not take his case to the Supreme Court and sue the NFL was because his family asked him to drop it so it would help his mother recover from cancer. She was not responding to treatment because she was so worried about him. He quit and literally saved his mother's life. Small price to pay for your mom.

The Boston media is never happy unless they can perceive a problem and debate the living shit out of it until someone finds something else........sort like CNN and politics.

Last night it was the horrible training camp of both JG and JB.

During 11 on 11 scrimmages in practice yesterday, Brady was sharp as a razor hitting 10 of 12 passes and a TD.
No Edeleman, Amendola, Gronkowski. Cooks, Mitchell or Hogan taking part in any of the scrimmages. The WRs were all young guys fighting for their football lives. Then Garrapollo took over and completed 14 of 36 passes with an INT and no TDs. Finally Brissett came in for a set and went 4 for 7 with 2 exchange fumbles and no TDs or INTs. The final stat on the screen was that JG has thrown 7 INTs in camp.

What does the media say? JG doesn't have all of the tools. He's nowhere near the same level as Brady. He's not ready to step in if Brady can't play. He may not be the NFL QB we all thought he was before his injury last year. Did the shoulder do something more?? Will JB ever be more than 3rd string?? Is JB on the bubble?? Can JB close the gap between himself and JG??

I watched about 15 minutes of Early Edition and then deleted it. I start to watch Boston Sports Tonight and if they start down the same road I'll send it to the DVR trash. EE is a two hour program that's on CSN every week night followed by Boston Sports Tonight for 3 hours of sports every week night. I can't take 5 hours of negativity.

I already stated I wasn't questioning your motives. It's clear you believe a crime was never comitted. I was just asking if you for sure knew that the following was true:

The reality was that Deflategate never happened. Once the balls were all removed from the field and tested and retested they all complied with the league parameters for ball inflation. Just as they did in the officials room before the game. Once the balls were brought inside the common ambient temperature of any public building is generally 72 degrees. Once the internal air in the warmed up, they did the natural thing.

I also believe a crime may never have happened. I'd like a source to use as proof. While I agree you are a good source, I'll get laughed at if I try to win an argument with "BigKen" from sportshoopla as my source. I know the ideal gas law is true, but was the air pressure at 51 equivalant to 12.5 psi at 72? My previous argument was about different guages measuring pressure within a margin of error of the legal limits when adjusted for the ideal gas law.

I have been putting the warning sticker on JG before the preseason. As I said I think BB trued to play the market and get what he could for JG and I feel it may have back fired on him. Time will tell

Maybe so, but I'll place my bets on Bill to make the right decision more often than the wrong.

Well that's not really the question, and again my point in all this was we just do not have a large enough sampling if Jimmy. No matter who follows Brady it's gonna suck for that guy.

I'll try to find the source where I read about the problem the league had once all of the balls were re-tested. The biggest issue the league was dealing with was that the officials had checked the balls and given the okay. The other problem that the league had was that the colts equipment manager had stuck a gauge in the "deflated" ball in the colts possession more than 12 times. AND that ball once brought inside to a warmer was measured at 12.2 lbs. psi. The question was then asked how much air escapes from a ball when it's measured with a needle gauge.

Basketballs, soccer balls and footballs were all tested and if a person as much as wiggles the gauge, .25 lbs of air can escape. Hand measuring anything can be questioned and the league had to admit that once all of the game balls were brought back into the indoors, none were below the league minimum.

During the 2016 season, balls were measured in at least 30% of the games played each week in warm weather and cold. The NFL has not released one of those measurements. Why?? Because balls measured in Miami and Jacksonville had reportedly much higher PSI than balls measured in Buffalo and Chicago and Green Bay especially in November and December.

The thing that still irks me regardless of everything else is why was nothing done to Colts equipment manager? He willingly admitted to violating NFL rules by gauging those balls. There is video proof yet nothing, nada not barely even mentioned.
F#$k Goodell and his integrity of the shield bs.

To me, one thing is clear. The league punished the Pats/Brady for something other than the events of the 2014 AFCCG. All of the double talk is an attempt to hide that, yet it actually does more to confirm it.
