If you are saying that I face palmed you- I must have hit something by mistake. That was not my intention at all. I don't even know where that is at . I tried to give a smiley face the other day and couldn't find where to do it.

Bottom right of the post. Plain as day. Good thing it's not a snake.

Yes I see it on your post now, but when I post I don't remember how to do the cheers thing, etc. when I typed that earlier I was on a cell phone. I can barely see on this IPad . I must have accidentally hit the face palm I guess. I didn't realize it until I read his post about 4 times.

Not my style to do that. I may disagree at times but I try not to disrespect.

Not saying anyone thinks I'm lying on this , but since nothing else has been said about it it does make me wonder. Check my profile page and I would think that would be evidence enough that I'm not into grading thoughts.

LOL...or maybe everyone just believed your explanation!!! Stop worrying. Don't we have a 56 year old QB to worry about??? FYI - if you hit it by mistake, you can remove the "facepalm" if you click on it again.

I wanted gregory with our 1st round pick as I had him as the best non qb in the draft. Such great quickness. Has a nasty mentality. He won't let up as he hits the qb like ware used to do.

I usually let your comments go, but the best non-QB? So you had him what, 3rd overall?

Best non QB? He wasn't even the best DLman. I'm sure glad I think differently than you.

If Leary does indeed end up beating Collins out and keeping his job for at least the start of the year I hope we get Collins more time at Tackle than we have been in case it turns out he is needed there at some point this year

Agree, Weems stood out for his mistakes, it would be nice if Collins can play backup to both G and T.

It's more than just how Weems looked though. Garrett has always said the best 5 will play. If we assume the best 5 are last years starters and then injury strikes at Tackle. What is our best #5 at that point? Maybe it's Weems or Green, but I would like to at least try to find out if it is in fact Collins.

I agree with you. If Collins is a better T than Weems or Green at T he needs to be ready.

Cal me foolish, but I refuse to accept this kid can't become a contributor. Let's see what he's got if he stays healthy

I believe that we are closer to seeing Morris Claiborne take snaps as a full-time player. In talking with him after practice, he said that this is the best that he has ever felt in a training camp since he has been with the team. In just watching him work you can see his movement is no longer limited and there is no limping after he takes a rep.

Collins looks like he would tear RT up

Broddaus say they are concerned with his foot work & RT. He plays better @ Guard because of less space.

Ideal fit or not, I think he would be better than Weems at RT and that is reason enough to get him some snaps there. Whether he would also be better than Free is a moot point because he didn't get the opportunity to prove it. But, there is plenty of time to get him ready to be the swing Tackle assuming one won't even be needed week 1. Heck, with his talent let him take some snaps at Center too and be the first OL off the bench at all 5 spots!!!

If push comes to shove, I have more confidence in Martin playing RT if need be.
