There's really no difference. The guy's a streaky, inaccurate QB just like a bunch of overrated QBs of the past (see Michael Vick & his obscene hype & annual trips to the pro bowl). Players like that will look amazing for a while but come crashing back down to earth because the running style can't be maintained for very long.
