As a Vikings fan who has seen him the last year, you guys have a top of the line practice squad player with him.

He really is good enough where he should be on SOMEONE'S active roster this season. Surprised he isn't.

I have zero doubt that the Vikings would have kept him this year if it wasnt for $'s due and incentive clauses that could have changed a 5th round pick to a 4th round pick that would have made them a little leery to use him if push came to shove because of injuries. He would still only be the 5th WR and the PR.....but they would have kept him. He's respectable depth.

.....and when you pick WR's as poorly as Belichick, he actually has a legit opportunity to make a move up the depth chart there in New England.

Hopefully the season opener against the Eagles will be a good clean, exciting game.
As for Jalen, I think he deserves another chance, maybe he makes the team and produces. Most Pats WR have been pretty bad for some years, so no problem trying him out.

& yes this was after Jefferson's rookie year!

Can’t teach fast. It hasn’t clicked for him yet. It’s a low risk move with little commitment but he might become a serviceable option.

I wouldn't hold my breath on that one. He just doesn't have good football IQ or instincts.

He has speed, but he'll run around like he's trying to break through a maze when returning a punt. Or he'll go space cadet and run the wrong route. He doesn't have great hands either.

I'm not rooting against him, I don't like to see guys wash out that quickly. But first round picks that are on their 3rd team in 4 seasons are only still around because they were a first round pick.
