LOL... Brogdon wasn't their third best player and didn't play much due to injuries. The Bucks are still the team to beat in the East in my and most of the expert's opinion.

Brogdon didn't play in the triumph against the Celtics and only came from bench in the 2nd game against the Raptors... He started in the 3 later games against the Raps, which the Bucks lost all of them.

Yes, this talk about Brogdon being such a force is kind of laughable.

Certainly taking back a 1st + 2x2nd + adding a 12M worth trade exception will allow the Bucks to end up better than last season... They can now use the picks to move their unwanted expirings on Ilyasova and Leure and have back some valuable in assets via trades.

This feller Horst is doing a terrific job in securing a long term roster that becomes better season after season and still keep the salaries below the lux tax threshold... I'm sure he'll win "executive of the year" again this season...

Anybody who takes Bledsoe over Brogdon in 2019 doesn’t understand how to value players.

Brogdon is a 50-40-90 guy who plays great defense and is the ideal complimentary player for a star. He can handle the ball and he can make open shots, but he is also the type of player who doesn’t need the ball in his hands to produce.

Lastly, Brogdon did not miss “most of the season”, he missed 2 months with plantar faciatis

The Bucks might be the best team in the East next year. But make no mistake, their roster is significantly weaker than it was a month ago.

Brogdon is the ideal role player in the modern NBA

Bucks would move Bledsoe for somebody who could shoot if they could
The Bucks have lots of shooters.

The Bucks have lots of shooters.

And only Middleton and Brogdon can play elite perimeter defense AND shoot.

All their other players offer 1 skill or the other. Pretty important to have players with both.

The Bucks have plenty of depth.

Right.

And still, only 1 player on their current roster that can shoot and guard at high levels

They will miss Brogdon a lot.
I disagree.

Brogdon was injured much of last season and Mirotic was a role player. These two are being replaced without any dropoff.

Brogdan started 64 games last year. Mirotic averaged 23 minutes a game for the Bucks last year.

You said he missed most of the season. He didn't. He played in nearly 80% of the Bucks games last year.
He was hobbled in almost half of those games.

He averaged 28 minutes and nearly 16 ppg. Are you saying that when he was healthy he was an all star?
He was playing hurt the second half of the season and they finally shut him down. You seem to think that the Bucks can't continue to be dominant without him.

They weren’t dominant though.

They lost in the ECF.

They will be among the contenders next year, no doubt. But they clearly got significantly worse during free agency.

Brogdon played in the ECF finals and was less than stellar.
