I think ye all should work on academics, and make that stadium about 2-3x bigger, then call the big boys

we're in the progress of both

we do have to start telling these conferences that we have plans in place for them, all we need is the money for it.

if we're in an AQ conference we will have a stadium of 53,000 within 3 years.

if this superconference stuff really is coming we have to get into a conference now.

Actually we are... takes a little more time w/o all the millions that an AQ has.... we will be at 47,000 in 4 years I think and 55,000 the year after

I think the super conferences would make the BCS more rigged than it already is (with special treatment for some teams and such). Plus I keep hearing it could have a negative impact on March Madness...a lot of basketball schools could suffer because of super conferences.

I could definitely see Boise finishing about 5th in the B1G this year. They're that good.

LOL @ Mysfit calling me out and still being wrong.

I never "whined" about BSU not making any effort to join a conference, I just find it funny how you go on and on about how no conference will invite BSU and rattle on about conspiracies.

When I ask what has BSU done to join a conference, you always say it's behind the scenes, cloak and dagger, kiddie bullshit. Then talk about PROJECT(OMG!!!!) and point the finger at other schools trying to hold Boise down. :smh:

Even your link says that the BE is looking for schools to keep the conference afloat. Nothing about any effort on Boise's part.

Seriously though, does anyone think that Boise St to the BE is gonna work? Do any BSU fans really want this?

Florida would be lucky to finish 6th in the B1G this year.

I don't see it happening, the only reason I want it is for the AQ and I get to go to away games against Cincinnati and Louisville.

what exactly does Boise offer to any conference?

Other than football, Boise St. really has nothing to offer. They are mediocre at basketball, but that's because they do not play anybody. Put them in a real conference like Big 12 or Big East, and the basketball team wont win a single conferene game.

TCU is almost in the same boat. TCU is solid at football and baseball, but their basketball program is worse than terrible. High school teams would have no problem with them.
