I know how Husker fans feel... When PSU made its deal w/ Syracuse they were relatively relevant, these "down the road" deals can backfire... Hopefully for everyone, Boise keeps dreaming....

I don't see why boise doesn't take the fresno state approach. In the words of Pat Hill, "anybody, anywhere, any time." Are they at a disadvantage being in the WAC? Of course. Are they going to change their image by being picky about getting 1 and 1s? Never. You've got to take risks to get anywhere in cfb. Period.

there's been at least one decent bcs team scheduled in the non-conference games for some time. before pedey puller came along there were sometimes 2. now explain what pedey did that was so special? lol.

if this actually happens, i think this series is a win win for both schools. boise will get prime time or afternoon national coverage and the huskers get a quality opponent. i hope these games don't end up on thursday night. saturday night from lincoln baaaaaby!!!

It usually works the opposite for Nebraska, but I don't imagine Boise St ever being better than they are now. When we scheduled PSU years ago they were down, same as USC, Washington, Tennessee, Miami, etc. We want marquee teams that we can beat IMO

I personally do not think that Boise could beat V Tech or play them as closely as we did this year. It is a good game for them cause they NEED the street cred which is something they are very short on because of their conf and who they have played in their OOC. During the season they play ONE game of a top 25 team and barely beat them. They have not earned their place in the top five it has been given to them.

I think just like every other team that played us this year and did not take into consideration our D (which WILL be one of the top still in 2015). Isn't Boise the team Colorado's coach came from. Personally I do not think They are top 15 caliber and their AD and Pres are acting like they are and have been on the top of the heap for 20 years and won NC's, when in fact they would have gotten their rear ends handed to them by the teams that have earned their position by PLAYING reg season games when it matters to the teams and played more than ONE in a season.
