Expanding on this. Shero made every move he could to bolster the lineup. Ownership signed off on bringing a lot of money on board. I really don't see Bylsma making it. Shero won't want to look bad...expectations were too high. This big of a collapse? No way he makes it.

Especially because it isn't his first playoff disappointment, it's at least his third, and maybe 4 depending on how you view the Tampa series.

I don't even know what I'd "give him" in terms of leverage. Halak robbed them and Tampa was a crap shoot of injuries. But by no means do I accept an ass whooping from the Flyers and sure as hell am not taking a sweep from Boston. Not with this talent.

I never bought the Halak'd thing, they got outcoached, and he made a bunch of good saves with defense in perfect position each time, then they collapsed in game 7 at home.

It's the complete lack of ability to make adjustments over the course of a series, let alone in a game. HE CAN'T ADAPT. He's so convinced that HIS system will work that he just pounds the same thing over and over again. The Pens need some structure, and X's and O's guy. Don't need to become some defensive shell, but it needs to exist.

Sometimes it's about having the right coach for the team though...IF DB goes, I have no doubt he'll find success elsewhere. I just tend to think this team needs a different guy in control.

Games 1 and 2 we had the Pens number. Game 3 meh that was a beast of a game. How many posts between the 2 teams? Like 8 or 9 or something? That game could have gone to either team easily.

Both goalies played awesome. I think this goes 5 or 6. The Bruins do not close well at home.
