Announcers just said the Bruins are 0-3 on the PP.

And now the PPs are even at 4.

For a loss, that was a rather entertaining game. A few comments

1.) Kunny, Iggy and Sid all had rough games
2.) Pens forwards.. stars, forgot to play defense.
3.) I would rather see Martin than Malkin on the point
4.) Refs need to be consistent. That 2-0 Shorthanded chance for the bruins should have been interference (bar set earlier in the game) and a dive on Letang. Cooke's 5min was bar and the other board should have been 5 as well. Just be consistent.

Well at the very least we have already accomplished the main goal. At least a split on Penguins ice.

I just reviewed the penalty summary. It doesn't match their powerplay totals. The box score might automatically assign a powerplay in the stats for every minor penalty, which seems to be consistent with the numbers it presents at first glance.

Find a new website. Boston has taken 7 penalties and (with the Crosby one) Pittsburgh has also. Not all penalties result in PPs though.

Congrats Boston. Now Pittsburgh just needs to buckle down and figure out Rask.

The Penguins need to shake this one off. They were frustrated, and it cost them two more goals. They got lazy or pressed too much. Just play good hockey.

If they stay frustrated, the Bruins will take this in four.

Just focus on solving Rask. If they play like they did in the first two periods tonight, I like their chances.

Fair enough. Th e most important stat tonight is that the Bruins are up 1-0 .

But the Bruins showed why they're championship quality tonight. They prevent the other team from scoring as well as anyone in the league (actually, the Pens and Hawks are similar teams and the Bruins and Kings are similar teams, which I find interesting). They were a lot more composed tonight than the Penguins.

Congrats Bruins fans. Hopefully, you'll be congratulating me next time.

Also, Malkin and Letang were both terrible tonight. We can't win with them being terrible. Disco Dan needs to sit those two down and have a nice long chat with them.
