Gotta love Winston from a pure entertainment perspective. This might have been his "Mona Lisa" moment as an artist. Hard to believe he tied Peyton Manning as the only QB to have 3 career games with 450+ yds and 4 TDs in a game. JW in primetime is must watch TV. :pound:

Yep

If nothing else it was entertaining. The Browns are a clown show this year anyway. But they've delivered the last 2 weeks in drama.

Additionally I appreciate that Winston threw 2 pick sixes but the Browns D has been middling at best this year. Doesn't make a lot of sense given its mostly the same guys.

Losing Jok sucked though.

It looks like I missed the full Jameis Winston experience last night huh. Jameis in full effect.

It's actually not that bad, but wow does it shit on every Deshaun Watson apologist (football) narrative that exists Jameis can move the ball and he can't at all.

Are there any of those left?

The only course forward is releasing Deshaun. He is toxic on the field, off the field, and is a shitty human being.

150 million fucking sucks but so does wasting the prime of the rest of your team.

Jameis can easily throw for 300 - 400 yards every game and push the ball down the field. But with that, comes bone headed decisions which results in picks.

Could keep Jameis as a stop gap until the find someone. Browns just got to eat the $$$$ and move on.

That.

Release Watson in the offseason and eat the cash. Keep Winston and maybe draft a QB with their 1st round pick.

As bad as Winston can be at times.....I have no question the Browns would have beat the Giants and Raiders if Winston had been starting. Maybe even the Bengals.....so they would be 5-7, possibly 6-6 right now if Winston had opened the season as the starter.

In case it hasn't already been said before: 460 yards passing and two pick 6s in one game? Ithink it's fair to say that that has never been done in an NFL game before. LOL.
If Bret Favre was a gunslinger, what do you call Crab Legs? This guy takes gunslinging to a whole new level. He's like Wild Bill Hickock.

Flacco is very similar but he led them to the playoffs....

Winston could do the same next season if they went with him and released Watson.

I plucked Jeudy off of the waiver wire earlier last week. Racked up 66 points last night, my biggest single-player score of the year so far. Crab Legs can throw all the pick 6s he wants as long as he keeps feeding the ball to Jeudy.

Might go with him but unless a way no one knows about cannot release Watson.

Browns take the lead 10-7. Browns look so much better without Deshaun - giving him a $200 million contract is one of the worst blunders in sports history - they should’ve stuck with Baker Mayfield, they gave up on him way too quickly after a bad 2021.
Anyway they have been better with Jameis at QB
No doubt this is true.....but at the time deal was made clearly nearly every team needing a QB agreed with the move. Many offered the same package the Browns did and no one offered more than a conditional 4th for Baker. Hell, the team who traded for him dumped him.

Especially when you compare him to the guy he replaced. Jameis competes his ass off from the time he takes the field until it's over, good bad or indifferent, the guy he replaced is a washed prima-donna with the exact opposite competitiveness.
Love Jameious but not exactly fair (other than this season). Idea Watson did not work his ass off or was not competitive prior to this season was false....I mean, he played a half of football on a high ankle sprain with a broken shoulder.

do I wish he was gone? absolutely.
