Broncos @ Rams (not the official game thread)

I am getting this out of the way early as I don't wanna think about Ram football until Sunday morning. I live in Denver and am having a big gathering this weekend at my house with my buddies who all are HUGE Bronco fans. Why, I have absolutely NO idea. This one is gonna be ugly. Peyton Manning will throw 6 TD's to tie Big Ben and Aaron Rodgers and the Rams will get crushed at home, AGAIN!

My guess is that it'll be the former rather than the latter. Hell... 10 bucks says we don't lay a finger on Peyton Manning next week.

I think we keep it close for two quarters. Then get blown out in the second half. Kind of been our MO the entire season so far.

I was watching Red Zone and every time they went back to the Broncos/Raiders game I thought "why are they doing this? Its getting worse and worse." I don't think I will watch Red Zone this week.

Well, they are supposed to show every score and the team in best position to score, at least until crunch time. That means a lot of Broncos highlights typically.

Game is at 1pm EST this week, so there will be more competition for time on RedZone. It is the lead game nationally for NBC however.

I'll say Brock comes in around the 3rd quarter unless they really want to inflate Manning's stats. This is a matchup of a team that is a serious Super Bowl contender against a team that can't get out of it's own way a lot of the time. I'll say it'll be Broncos 45 Rams 17.

Its a no brainer that the Rams are going to get slaughtered. I'll very surprised if the Rams can even compete. I'm not trying to be a negative nancy and I hope I'm not offending anyone but I'm no longer motivated in Ram football right now. I'm so depressed. I can't even imagine how the 50+ Ram fan club feel.. They even remember the losing streaks they had while in LA.

Ya, but at least we had some very good teams in the late 60's and some good teams in the 70's and 80's, you younger fan have had a couple Super Bowl years and a lot, a lot, of SUCKAGE!

I truly doubt that we will win, but I've already been pleasantly surprised a couple of times by this team. Odds are against us winning, but if we play out of our heads and make no mistakes, and Denver sucks, you just ever no, shit "does" happen!
