Broncos QB Pick in the Draft

I like Bo Nix alot.

He understands situational football and makes good decisions - especially after the snap. That is the rarest attribute of them all.

He has flaws...don't get me wrong. As do all the top QB's this year.
But after Williams, Maye and Daniels......I believe he is the most ready QB to come in and play right away.

I am going to trust Payton/Paton on this call.

However, at 12 I am afraid there are going to be more "can't miss" picks there then taking a QB outside the top 3. However, I understand the situation we are in as well.

Next years QB class looks good to me also. I just don't want to take the wrong QB just to take a QB. I don't dislike any of the QB's after the top 3 but I am probably not going to do flips for them. I would be hopeful but just can't say I have a great feeling about them.

I'm fine with McKinstry/Arnold/Bowers @ 12.
Or trade down and pick up a 2nd and get Nix.

• Penix, Nix and McCarthy to work out and throw at the combine.
• Rumors of Sean Payton in love with JJ McCarthy swirling.
• Fields, Cousins, Wilson - which QB hungry team will sign these guys, thus altering the draft strategy for the Broncos?
• Legal tampering period start on March 11. Free agency opens up on March 13.
• Draft starts on April 25th.

Mixed opinions on QB at #12 or BPA. I still think the Broncos take a QB in the first round, whether they move up or down. Sure would be nice to find a way to get a 2nd round pick. This draft is pretty deep at some real positions of need.
