Do you think the cost was high to trade up for Mac Jones? I dont think so. RR is blowing smoke. He grabbed Fitz b/c he thought he could win now with a vet QB and a good defense. Its the exact same philosophy that Bruce Allen had trading for Alex Smith. Now Fitz got hurt and the defense stinks and now RR has to answer. The thing is he has no answers b/c the has two UPS workers trying to score points for him in TH and Blewitt.

I think he owes it to the fans to see what K. Allen can do. If he goes into the Tampa Bay game with no changes at all then he is all out of answers for this team.

1. Yes, too high for Jones because Jones here is a vastly different player than Jones in N.E.

2. I don't think that he grabbed Fitz b/c he thought he could win now with a vet QB and a good defense. He couldn't possibly be that stupid can he? I didn't see a good defense last year, he's paid to make these judgements and if you're right__ failed!

3. I think that he grabbed Fitz, because in his mind he had no other choice. Every other route to getting a good, better, or best QB costs too much. Don't believe me, he says it all of the time, then proved it in the last draft and during free agency and trading period which ends Tuesday.. You and I just disagree on which guy they should have moved up to get in the past draft.

While this might ultimately prove to be true, we have to understand that each of them were deliberately hand picked by RR and his staff. Whether it has been incompetence, desperation, or a conservative mindset, none of it is good.

5. Finally, If Kyle Allen was a young guy, just now looking to make his mark in the NFL, you would have a point, but he's not. We already know that Allen, just like Fitz and Heinicke, is another journeyman QB. BTW: I never thought that RR had many answers coming into this job. So far, he's proving me right.

I think that the draft QB class is pretty much settled, the only remaining question is which of the weak class goes first, second, third, and so forth beginning where in the draft.

QB's are over-drafted all of the time, but I think that you have it just about right.

And, I literally watched him take a play off today while on the field. Certainly expect more production and your heart and soul on every play from a team captain.
Not piling on but stating what I saw and it's disappointing. Still not certain RR hasn't lost the team.

oh he has lost the team Rivera needs to go we need a young up and comer to take over and there are options this offseason
