I am truly worried about that game. We are going to start players who have literally zero real game contact and expect them to do what? How about an entire team offensively that's been limited to little of the same? Like I said, this one truly worries me.

In practice you work on your playbook and technique. You work on alignment, route running, angles, leverage and just plain old football skills. It is all necessary to help you become a better football player. In no way doesn't it replace actual game experience.

i am not sure of that . they havent been ready for 4 years under gruden . i'd feel better if smith had more reps

I think we have seen his body of work. I'm not sure if it's just him or coaches included but...since he has been here what has been consistent is an abundance of injuries ( bad luck or bad preparation), slow starts, no sense of urgency in big games, clock management issues, poor play calling just to name a few. Just not a fan of JG anymore. Wouldn't mind Edward's from Minn.
