didn’t Reed have an right of first refusal only tender and no one wanted him?Chubb
Gregory
Cooper
Bonito
Browning(if he really stays here)
Risky to let Reed go? Probably. You could easily add a 6th here and let Browning swing outside and inside.
Here is to Chris Allen staying healthy and living up to some potential.
One thing to keep in mind is if you trade someone, you don’t want to trade them for less then you believe you will get from a compensatory pick.
Yeah - George we know he was your random assed guess for that pick in the draft contest.Last year’s pick #64 was Creed Humphrey from OU for the Chiefs. If he wasn’t a center, he would have been in the discussion for Rookie Offensive Player of the Year. I’m expecting that teams will look back at pick #64 this year from OU and wonder how he wasn’t selected before #64.
You’re reading my mind. Should prove interesting to see how the offensive brain trust scheme him.Yeah - George we know he was your random assed guess for that pick in the draft contest.
My thought on Bonitto is he is not at yet a starter type at OLB. He is a rotation guy for passing situations. He is just literally not heavy enough or strong enough to set the edge in the run game.
However - he was uniquely one of the fasted 10 yard splits guys in the entire draft. The Broncos could send him in on passing situations and let him play from a two point stance and decide where to rush the QB. Switch to various kinds of 4 and 5 man fronts - with Bonitto moving back and forth behind them like a wild card pass rusher. If the Broncos play him like that they will shine and so will Bonitto. Make him stronger beef him up some, but use his talents effectively.
