I am sure he will be cut and added to the PS.. With us keeping Burton just very hard to keep 3 RB's unless one excels on ST's which Watson ad Badie don't.

My guess is Badie will sign with another teams PS, going into year 3 he has been good enough to make the team but younger RB's ahead of him now.

Watson I think should sign to our PS.

Adkins can function as a FB. He's kind of H-Backish.

Preaching to the choir but Burton is another Payton pet like Lil J...

One thing about Burton too that I don't think people talk about him.. He is a really good special teams player.. So he fills two roles.

I actually REALLY get the roster spot for Burton with the special teams play added.

I like Lil'j. He is too fast and too agile for a 6'4" guy at 225-ish pounds. He just moves very well for his size.

He doesn't stretch the field well enough for my liking but he does have good size and he can go underneath. Just think there are better options we let go but it's all good as long as we have Mims and Franklin I can't whine too much. I don't dislike Lil J, and we can only have so many vets on the PS I suppose.

@listopencil We got our wish.

Even though I was ok with Burton because of his special teams play we save a roster spot as Adkins will serve as FB/ TE.

and on the reverse we both have a sad moment of Lil J and Brandon J, neither making it. All the debate and neither make it... With the fact that Blake Watson makes it bc we kept 5 WR's over 6 I am ok with it. There is the trade off.

I figure we will keep 3 WR's on the PS. Here is to Lil J and Brandon J making it to our PS to keep us both happy!

One thing I have learned with Payton is he likes to use PS spots for WR's as there are so many good WR's in this league he can get away with it to save roster spots and elevate WR's when needed. With the new rules the PS is more a part of the team then before.
