Almost every other starter. Why do I need to list them? Much easier to list 10 he's better than.Name me 29 QB's in the NFL that are better than Sanchez.
1. Josh McCown
2. Brian Hoyer maybe?
3. Ok I'm out

Improvement at the QB position though isn't like this impossible task for the Broncos. Broncos probably won the Super Bowl with statistically the worst QB play of any Super Bowl in history. We were 31st in QB Rating combined of all players that played (Osweiler/Manning combined). So when I say things like even average QB play can win with this defense what I am saying is improvement at the QB position can win with this defense.
Yes I know all too well how quickly an offense or defense can go from great to bad. I mean look at the Broncos offense in 2013 being the best offense in NFL history to this past year bottom-10. Osweiler was a part of that offense being bottom-10. While I do think he showed some promise I also understand he still had some major struggles and some major red flags in his game that made it impossible to even come close to paying him what the Texans offered. Again I just think the Broncos can find an average QB that can win with the core of the team still intact for the Broncos.
You forget Mallett, McCarron, Taylor, Austin Davis, Keller Moore, Blake Bortles, Blaine Gabbert, RGIII and Zach Mettenberger.Almost every other starter. Why do I need to list them? Much easier to list 10 he's better than.

IMO, Sanchez is a better QB than at least 10 NFL starting QBs.I'd hope a backup QB that Denver got to be a backup QB isn't better than any current starting QB's otherwise that's just sad.
You need to list them, because you said "Sanchez barely cracks the top 30. "Almost every other starter. Why do I need to list them? Much easier to list 10 he's better than.

A "Bus driver" doesn't turn the ball over at the rate Sanchez does. it's not just Ints it is fumbles too. Throw in that he is one of the most inaccurate QBs in the league and he just sucks. You don't get a possible starting QB for a conditional 2017 7th round pick and making 25% of what still unproven guys like Osweiller and Cousins are getting. The amount of people in this thread not seeing that is mind boggling to me. Admittedly it Could just be me i of course, but I think I have seen enough of Sanchez's actual play to think I'll end up right on this one when all is said and done. Also don't think he will be starting in Denver anyway.Sanchez is a bus driver QB if that IMHO![]()
Most of them you listed, likely all but I didn't look them up started less than 8 games. I don't consider them starters. Having said that I'd take Mallett, Taylor, Bortles Gabbert and Zack over Sanchize. Not that I would want to be stuck with those as my only choices for a starter on my team. You forget Mallett, McCarron, Taylor, Austin Davis, Keller Moore, Blake Bortles, Blaine Gabbert, RGIII and Zach Mettenberger.
I'm not making a 30 name list, but Sanchez is not even close to the top 30 QBs in this league IMO. I don't think he is in the top 40. But, I've made my opinion on him pretty obvious in this thread, so I guess that shouldn't be a surprise to hear me say thatName me 29 QB's in the NFL that are better than Sanchez.
Before sucking in the pros, he sucked at USCWhere did Sanchez go to college?
Fair enough. I don't think Elway has plans to have Sanchez as his starting QB.Most of them you listed, likely all but I didn't look them up started less than 8 games. I don't consider them starters. MJ, you know where Sanchez went to college. Don't go dumb on me.Where did Sanchez go to college?
No wayI wonder if your fandom of USC is coloring your lofty opinion of him..?
Not really. Sanchez was a 1st round draft pick and went to the AFC Championship game his first two years. Those facts don't stand in my way.I wonder if your fandom of USC is coloring your lofty opinion of him..?
Name me 29 QB's in the NFL that are better than Sanchez.
Good list, but I see Sanchez in the 18/20 range. Besides Elway doesn't plan to start Sanchez, unless he can't find another QB. Denver will pick up a QB in the draft. No particular order:
1. Brady
2. Rodgers
3. Luck
4. R. Wilson
5. Roethlisberger
6. Bradford
7. Romo
8. Dalton
9. Ryan
10. Winston
11. E. Manning
12. Palmer
13. Ty Taylor
14. Newton
15. Cutler
16. Stafford
17. A. Smith
18. Tannehill
19. Bridgewater
20. Brees
21. Fitzpatrick
22. Derek Carr
23. Rivers
24. Cousins
25. M. Moore
26. Osweiler
27. Garoppolo
28. Flacco
29. Kaepernick
Guys near Sanchez ability, but argument could be made for better than:
Henne

- G. Smith
- S. Hill

- Stanton
- McCown
- Manuel
- Cassel
- Davis
