Also, Seattle in danger of being stripped a draft pick for not disclosing Richard Sherman's injury.

I hope the NFL awards Brock's compensation based on his contract and not his performance.

They are scheduled to lose their 5th from violating OTA rules last summer. I heard they may give them their 5th back and take a 2nd instead after this.

Daniel Jeremiah has Davis and Everett in the 1st but not Malik.

Jeremiah mock draft 1.0: 49ers, Jets, Texans fill QB needs

he's a DAMN FOOL! (i don't really think he's a fool... mocking is hard because so many different takes. I have seen enough out there tho to warrant those selections right now imo)

Meanwhile I was going to ask if Malik would be there at 20. I figured he would be top 15.

we are in the time of year where everything is all over the place. I have seen McDowell from top 10 to end of round 2.

I will be very surprised if Malik McDowell doesn't go in round 1.

I've also been as big of a fan on Gerald Everett as any the past two years, but Ill be a bit surprised but not shocked if he goes round 1. I really like the guy, but not sure he's a round 1 TE.

McDowell does have some red flag that could hurt him, so it depends on how those area perceived, but nothing major from what I understand.

Davis lingers in that Round 1/2 range.

Glad to see you have David Sharpe. I feel I am higher on him then most (don't call me a Florida homer) but I think he is going to start to rise with the weak OL draft. Davenport I like as a developmental OT, just not sure we will be a great team for him with my lack of faith in developing young OL. So many WR's I like this year. I like Henderson but may be some sitting on the board with that pick I like more. I am hot and cold on De'Veon Smith. Some games I REALLY like him and other games I really don't like him. Mathes is fine. Toupu I have late/undrafted. Decent player not a lot of upside but a guy who can come in and make a team and be of depth. Knappe is ok. Overall I think your mock hits needs and draft position fairly well.

Curious, Who was the last OT taken around #20 and did they sign a 2nd contract with the same team?

This OT class (top 3) scares me.

Cam Robinson is dropping and I don't really think you can accurately evaluate a 24 year old OT playing college which is what you have in Bolles. He would have to dominate in the Senior Bowl.

Yeah the OT draft isn't good, which is why I've been crying to fix the OL in FA and not the draft... That and we can't draft OL worth a crap.

If this change in the coaching staff doesn't have an impact on the drafting of Olinemen - then it was ineffective. I'm - hoodwinked into - thinking it will be an improvement. Those new coaches are already looking at the early draft work the scouts have and reprioritizing what attributes of what they want in their simplified offense.

Watlerfootball's newest 4 round mock...

1.20 - OT Ryan Ramcyzk, Wisconsin - Having offseason surgery because he played through a hip injury during the season. He may not be healthy enough to work out for teams, but he should be good enough to start on the right side during his rookie year. Then, he could move to the left after a few years.

2.51 - RB/WR Christian McCaffrey, Stanford - His little write up says that he may slip because of his decision to sit out during the bowl game this year. I highly doubt that. He also says that we need a backup RB. They may bring in someone to compete for the job, but I doubt it is as glaring a need as Walter suggests. However, it is Ed McCaffrey's son and if he is still on the board this late in the 2nd (which I doubt), I wouldn't be mad at this selection.

3.82 - DE/DT Charles Walker, Oklahoma - Would probably play DE in our 3-4 defense. Already has concussion issues that cost him most of his senior season.

4.116 - WR Cooper Kupp, Eastern Washington - Put up huge numbers against a relatively weak schedule. People think he would be an excellent slot WR at the next level because of his quickness, route running, and great hands.
