OL does not dictate what a team will do each year . But It is the difference of being a more solid team when you keep people off your QB they have the year the Raiders are having .

agreed. Or an RT.

Another guy not listed but very likely will be a FA in Brandon Albert. Miami is in cap hell and they drafted Tunsil last year

At some point we need a shake up on OL staff wise .

RT for sure ..but I am hoping for a Draft pick ..

Thing is we need to get players lined out . We need a year were all the starters are coming back

IMO

Stevens would be Excellent at LG . C and RG are IMO serviceable right now .

RT is the biggest weakness on the team .

Right now DE is the biggest need then NT

IMO all the OL needs up grading even C because Paradise is not going to play many years in the NFL sad to say he is damn solid .

I don't think there is anything wrong with oline play relative to the draft other than some minor things like them not getting enough reps and spread offenses.

What we do have is QBs and WRs coming into the league without a development phase and teams focusing on the pass more than the run. I'd imagine pass blocking is a harder science than run blocking for younger players but maybe I'm wrong on that. Obviously run assignments can get complex but watching a veteran going against rookie in a pass rush is usually really ugly.

What we do have going on is the removal of the idea that the offensive lineman is the 'safe' pick. That used to be the old cliche. Thats gone. The Rams have proven twice that a combine warrior with no good tape isn't at all safe. The Chiefs got burned somewhat at the top of the draft but it was a no good, awful draft.

I say if a guy has good tape, fits the measurements and core strength needed for the position and interviews well then teams shouldn't shy away.

Just gotta scout the OL hard and find the hidden OL who don't have the hype.

They exist, just gotta find them.

I'd love Matt Kalil but there's no way Minnesota doesn't re-sign him.

Agreed especially if we are losing Sly. Walker can play both the DE and NT position. He should be cheap as well because of this injury so nice veteran to add to the mix that already knows the system.

The other reason I think LT in FREE agency is we can move our LT we got now to RT ?

Watched some Wake Forest defense today. They have a few really good future NFL players

1. DE/OLB Duke Ejiofor
2. ILB/OLB Marquel Lee
3. CB Brad Watson

All really stood out to me. Draftbreakdown needs more tape on these guys ball all were impressive

Also watched Washington Defense vs Stanford and Oregon. Joe Mathis washington has some of the heaviest hands I have ever seen. The power he exerts when he makes contact with tackles is insane. Very very underrated
