Johnson looks more like a 3rd rounder to me but he could make noise at senior bowl or combine so we will see. He did dominate last night.

:) I suppose you believe E. Elliot would be having the same success he's having behind Denver's O-line. Peace. :)

Better then what they have and I don't see concussions as the number one reason that RB's are injured. They are mostly leg injuries or shoulders for obvious reasons. Lacy, Lewis, Martin, Peterson, C.J. Anderson, Hyde, Charles, Chris Johnson, Coleman, Mccoy, Langford all missed time or left games due to these injuries. I could list more but you are smart enough to get the point. If a Broncos fan can honestly say that Elliot wouldn't be a better option at RB then what they have now then they are clueless. Yes he wouldn't have the same numbers but be realistic about it. Have a great day because I know I will. Peace.

Great RB Class this year. I am having a hard time ranking it... I would pry go

1. Fournette LSU
2. Cook FSU
3. Chubb Georgia
4. Freeman Oregon
5. Foreman Texas
6. Samuel (RB/WR) tOSU
7. McCaffery (RB/WR) Stanford
8. Mixon Oklahoma (character concerns but a huge talent)
9. Kamara Tennessee
10. Gallman Clemson

Obviously will change but damn that is a deep class bruh

Montravius Adams dominated yesterday against Georgia. He has six tackles, two tackles for loss and a sack and was super disruptive all game. He is really rising.

Who watched the Clemson game? I think I mentioned him earlier but Scott Orndoff had an awesome game against Clemson. 9 receptions for 128 yards and 2 TD in a winning effort at Clemson. He is definitely a tight end to watch who isn't getting much media buzz but looks very good on tape. Great TE class.

Jaleel Johnson, DT, Iowa.

Nationally not a lot of folks know about this kid, but he has been pretty darn solid the last 3 years... Lasts year the only thing lacking was consistency and he has shown that this year. He's gonna get love soon.

Perine is somewhere in there too. Injuries will hurt him some obviously.

Not in the top 10 but Matt Dayes of NC State is gonna make a nice mid round RB who can come in and take a few carries and catch the ball out of the backfield.

Like Toledo RB Kareem Hunt as a later round guy. Great size and has some nice burst.

Utah RB Joe Williams, don''t sleep on this guy. Retired after a few games this year due to injury and lack of carries. Came out of retirement after Utah lost their other two RB's and he has been a man on a mission since. Also like ASU JR Kalen Ballage who will stay in college, but he as a terrible OL so not a lot of people have noticed him yet.

Wisconsin RB Corey Clement is a dime a dozen RB to me.

PSU Soph RB Saquan Barkely (not draft eligible) but he falls in the Fournette, Cook, AP, Ezekiel mold. Rare RB that is just two steps above the others.

Watch out for Texas A&M RB Trayveon Williams down the line and LSU RB Darius Guice. Williams small and just a FR but runs very fast and tough. He won't be a 20 carry guy in the NFL but he is gonna be a guy who plays a long time IMO... Plays much bigger then his size.

Alvin Kamara just might be the most underated of these RB's, not a lot of tread on his tires. Alabama transfer. Should have been starting over Jalen Hurd from the start this year.

Minnesota SOPH RB's Rodney Smith and Shannon Brooks. Keep an eye on these two. Love them both.

Not real high on Pitt RB James Conner at the NFL level. Great college player. Bigger RB, just not a lot of wiggle. Sorta like Clement.

Colorado RB Philip Lindsay is another to keep an eye on down the line as is Texas RB Chris Warren (currently injured) and UNC RB Elijah Hood. Not the same year he had last year, but he is one to keep an eye on.

HAHA! How could an Iowa fan sleep on Wadley?

He's all we got on offense.

I do have to say I am impressed from last year's draft in Jack Conklin. He has been playing about as good as any RT in the league. I did not like how he looked in college and thought he was very overrated.

Core strength was phenomenal. Looked like a marginal athlete but really need to reconsider technique and power rather than just pure athleticism. My views changing as well. Before I would have taken Spriggs over Conklin but obviously not the right call.

i can tell you what sucks is that where we are strong we won't be able to really fix it this draft... bad offensive and defensive tackle class

I sound like a broken record, but we really need to fix OL in FA, not the draft. We have been terrible at drafting OL and we need a fix NOW, not in 2-3 years.

Schofield wasn't a FA. Okung was at least a proven player and playing well until injury. I have no problem with that signing...

We need to fix the OL now. This is getting old.

Agreed. That is why I am so big on us re-signing Vance Walker or if say the Chiefs do let Poe walk going ahead and being willing to commit big money to him. He is just entering the prime of his career, fits well with our system of that attacking style NT, and just always enjoy when we can take a player that weakens a divisional opponent. He might be way out of price range though considering how much we have spent on the defensive side of the ball anyway.

OL wise not only is it a bad draft for the Tackle position but it might even be a worse FA class. Maybe a player gets cut that people don't expect. I could see a guy like Brandon Albert of the Dolphins getting cut since they took a LT in the draft this past season and with his injury history, age, and cost he might be a cap casualty. Not sure we want to just keep bringing in guys with bad injury histories and getting up in age though to cover that LT spot. I will say going back and watching the game I haven't fully focused on Okung but I don't think he had the worst game by any means. I thought he handled that left side pretty well and our best success was running behind him. So maybe we do just decide to keep him there and pay some big money in the hopes he stays healthy and grows in the system.

I did love listening to Kubiak talk today. Nothing got him more fired up than when talking about the OL. Said he isn't disappointed in the OL but is driven to get this unit fixed or at least more consistent. I still have some faith that this unit can actually still get better. They won't be top-10 by any means but even just being a middle of the pack OL could do wonders for this team.
