If he does need reconstruction (known when the open him up) Many pitchers have come back stronger after the reconstruction!
Young baseball pitchers are getting Tommy John surgery they don't need to improve their chances!

He played pretty consistently, and made few mistakes. Sunday was the first fumble he committed all season, and I think he only threw 2 picks. When you don't ask a QB to do too much, you get better results.

I'm just not ready to crown Purdy as the second coming. The only reason he started is because the two guys ahead of him got hurt.

He did well, I am not taking that away from him...but he hasn't earned a starting job in my opinion.

As a point of note, people have had irrational sports hate for Philadelphia for most of our lives. People threw snowballs at Santa 50 years ago and we still hear about it every time some lazy media bastard has to do a story on Philadelphia sports. So over time…we just collectively decided to lean into that shit.
