from everything he's said over the years, i'd be shocked if he went any further than buffalo, pittsburgh, DC, NJ, or NYI/R.

i would say pittsburgh, but they definitely don't need a center, and anybody that signs him to play wing will be greatly disappointed

So the Penguin lineup next season

C - Crosby, Malkin, Taveras, Toews
RW - St Louis, Kane, Stamkos (he will gladly move to the wing to play with Crosby), Orr (hey every team needs one).
LW - Neal, Ovechkin, Kunitz (couldn't find a good trade partner), Semin (since Crosby likes it).

D - Chara - Weber, Suter - Letang, Keith - Seabrook,
G - Rask and Bernier

So that means Briere will be a healthy scratch.

I want no part of him. He's a hit to the head away from being a vegetable. we're already pretty set at center and as far as I know he doesn't backcheck enough to fit the Devils system (I could be wrong on that one). Plus, he's been a Flyer for too long.

It has been a great run with Danny, but it was time to move on. After this season it was kind of hard to want him back.

Briere has created some kick ass memories, and for those I thank him.
