A lot of people in Philly are baffled by the recent moves. Some of these guys fall in love with their own egos to the detriment of their own team and Kelly appears to be in that category. Apparently Foles is a way better QB than many people give him credit. We shall see how this plays out but Kelly better be careful or he may be out the door sooner than he realizes.

Chip Kelly just did a live presser on NFL Network.. He was back peddling and said another team offered a 1st rounder to Chip for Bradford this morning. Also said they have no intentions of trading Sam and/or getting MM - said they would salvage the farm for 1 player.
He said they are trying to win championships and bring in elite talent to the Eagles. He said Sam/Mark Sanchez are the QBs he wants.

You know Chip is going to run a fast tempo, spread O, with all kinds of motion. And you know the flaw to that is their D is on the field all game. Not to mention they were #1 in turnovers last year. And the Spread O with "ole brittle bones" just seems like a disaster with an Oline that wasn't good at all last year either.


Just looks like a horrible combo on paper, then add in the Philly fans that will roast you.. Some reporter asked Chip that on paper Bradford doesn't look like a guy that could be a franchise QB... Chip said, "this isn't paper!" "I looked for certain qualities".
