We took a major step to improving our O to match the prowess of our D. This should be a good year coming up.
Downside? So we have the possibilty of getting a second round pick, plus we get rid of a Qb who knows the medical staff better then his own teammates, save a bunch load of money and we get a better Qb. Somebody pinch me, I must be dreaming. Where is the downside?
Downside?
Let's ask some Philly fans....
Sam Bradford is your new QB!
What do you guys think?
Well thanks Iggloo. He will be highly appreciated. I know the Philly fans are pissed right now. I think Chip maybe packaging Bradford and picks to move up to get MM. So hang in. There might be more to this story as the draft rolls around. I am Flyers and Phillies fan so I know how things can get in Philly when things start to get really ridiculous.
Well Davis wasn't on the roster when the trade happened. More importantly though Foles is the starter so I bet he gets what he wants. So who will wear No. 9?
I believe it would end the deal and things would remain as they are, which as of now has the Rams getting a 2nd.What happens to the conditional pick if they trade Bradford I wonder?
I agree...I believe it would end the deal and things would remain as they are, which as of now has the Rams getting a 2nd.

Good question, I would guess there is language in there protecting the Rams since the Rams have no control over that type of play...
That said, I would speculate the Rams would get the Eagles 2nd rounder next year by default...
Chip Kelly traded for Bradford's potential out of college. Bradford has already been in a gimmick system...his rookie year.
Its crazy how much better things have gotten for the Rams after they chose not to get RG3. Now if they could just get all of this young talent to win games...
Yes, I posted that prior to any real clarity. From what I've read, the 2nd rounder is locked in regardless. Only the potential 3rd or 4th rounder back to the Eagles next year is conditional based on Bradford's health.
I think that is the plan Clayton. With the Niners subsiding a bit with their fire sale and the Seahawks losing a few and getting a few (Maxwell and Unger gone, Graham arriving and Lynch re-signing) and the Cards re-arming, we have a chance to move on up this coming year.
