Dallas is the number 2 seed . You aren’t matching up like that

We won’t find out much , our team went 2-6 with everybody up then went on a 4 game win streak . What we are is a sub 500 team for 2 years looking to take the next step in year 3 . So yeah I would like to see wins but it doesn’t matter because x there is no carryover to the following season as making the playoffs last year didn’t mean shit this year

for the record, there are no more .500 teams. Going forward 8-9 or 9-8 will both be considered a .500ish team because the only way to be a .500 team is to go 8-8-1 with the current format.

As for this season, we started out with a still green QB and questions at WR. People settled in and we rolled off 4 wins in a row..

Injuries hit and we started losing again. And people freaked out and wen into we need a QB mode once again forgtting the fact that they are judging a guy with 22 starts on the same scale as they always do...

If it aint sexy, we need to find a new one

Nope... But IM ok with not reaching for a starter in the first round, or bringing in someone name brand retread and anointing him the savior.

And there in is the problem.

If we draft a QB in the 1st or even the 2nd, I dont think we will get a legit comp. Much as we have seen in other situations, it will be the drafted guys job to lose and the other guys wont really get a shot to win the job.

I would be fine if we drafted a late rounder, and the job was still for TH and Allen to take,

This is why Terry won't ever reach his potential, he gets triple teamed and poorly thrown balls. You can toss it up to a Cam Simms type, but you have to burn a 6'2 corner that's looking at the qb the wholeeeeee time

What I want to see the team do is fight. They should be embarrassed as hell. I know they were undermanned but I want to see guys show they want to be here next year

Lol, I'm using owner logic. Keep the loyal fans hanging on by a thread by changing the name and overpaying washed up elites. It works, you're guaranteed a one n done in the playoffs.

I actually agree. We make the playoffs year 1 of the new name change with all these washed up guys, and then proceed to lose the following years. Snyder may have dirt on other guys, he's freaking invincible

There doesn’t appear to be a good candidate. If we have to go into next year with our current stable of QBs, so be it. Become strong around him. save you ammo until you are a sure of a target that is an upgrade over what we have. Then you strike.

Again yes and no. If Pickett fals to us and we take him, but dont force the whole day one starter thing.... IM good.

If we take him and then name him the starter at the draft party... we are going to break him like we always do.
