the point is that players tend to perform to what they have been. vernon wells has not been a 290 hitter since like 2005 so all of a sudden you can "expect that to continue" right. what you are expecting is that while grandy and tex come back these players are gonna perform to what you see is the norm.. while grandy and tex come back swinging hot bats. you got another thing coming to you. but hey they are in first place and you are humping the hell out of it. so have fun while it last.
