They're will always be a great player for every generation

He might not be AS great as Tiger but he'll be great. The problem is he will be disappointing because everyone will constantly compare him to and want him to be the next Tiger.

but that player is not Rory

exactly....between jack and tiger there were some great players but not comparable

the point is that players tend to perform to what they have been. vernon wells has not been a 290 hitter since like 2005 so all of a sudden you can "expect that to continue" right. what you are expecting is that while grandy and tex come back these players are gonna perform to what you see is the norm.. while grandy and tex come back swinging hot bats. you got another thing coming to you. but hey they are in first place and you are humping the hell out of it. so have fun while it last. :suds:

Have a feeling people may be saying this about Vernon Wells in August

Don't underestimate what the uniform does to a player

I'm a huge fan of whatever pisses you off

Don't start with me. The Sox and the Bruins have made me very irritable lately. :mmph:

So, Wells will go back to his norm
but
Grandy and Tex will NOT go to their norm

Got it!

Have fun while it lasts?! it's lasted since 1994 !!!

You guys certainly took the reigns of the Roidtista threads - those were amazing because there were about 15 other Jays fans who we never knew existed, because they only posted on those Roidtista threads

But I'm the one that first brought up HW's fairweathering. There was a time where HW had a reputation "for always being there win or lose". I changed that for the more realistic

Last year was the first time he was on the boards past the all star break, but it was just to play the injury card

and who is the liar.. why would i have the reputation of always being there if i wasn't. this is the time i called you out for being my stalker and it still rings true to this day you just can't get enough of me.

You paying? Take a grande Pike, one splendor and cream.

Blade will take a mocha coco cappuccino with a sprinkle of caramel, a dash of green tea, a spot of whipped cream and a small umbrella.

I figured since Rock asked the question it had to be ORR. That and the fact did it a few times. That was pretty easy really.
