I know VAN made it further than the Sharks this season, but it must SUCK to be a Nuck fan right now. I rather be mad at the Sharks than depressed over a game 7 blowout at home. I realllllly envy Boston as a sports city.

Don't want to be that guy, the bitter disgruntled sore loser fan, but I'm damn glad the Canucks lost. Fuck Lapierre and Torres. Those dirty pieces of shit didn't deserve to hold the cup. Also, Luongo giving up 20 goals in 7 games is unworthy of the Stanley Cup. I guess karma is a bitch for those assholes.

PS. Tim Thomas is a fucking stud. I was never a big fan of his but I am now after watching him these last couple series....

Hope so. I truly believe that if the Sharks had taken game 5 they would have won the series. Vancouver was starting to fold like they always do, outplayed by San Jose in 3 straight games. Boston was able to get it done, props to them. The Sharks are close though. There's reasons to have hope next season for sure.

LOL...The Nucks only scored 2 PP goals (31-33), and gave up 3 SH goals in this series. I thought Sharks PP sucks, this is laughable.

What's even more sorry is their fans rioting after the loss? Are you kidding me? I don't want to take jabs at the Nucks because afterall, they did lose a game 7 of the SCF on their own home turf, but that's flat out ridiculous to pull off a riot and actually fight back against the police. That's essentially equivalent to some of the soccer hooliganisms I've seen over the years.

Loved that he even had the audacity to say that he would have made the save on the game 5 GWG whereas Thomas didn't because of Thomas' unorthadox style. Well, it's not Lolongo's fault VAn didn't score a goal in game 7. The twins and Kesler crapped the bed all series long. Guess they blew their load vs the Sharks and had nothing left.

It would have been outright sacrilege to see Raffi Torres' name on the same piece of hardware as Wayne Gretzky and Gordie Howe. His name will NEVER be stamped on the Cup!!!
