Faverani has been impressive but the last 2 games Stevens has gone in a different direction, so will see what happens. Bass has been great and could be trade deadline trade bait. We all know Danny is tanking, so expect him to trade whoever he thinks can get us more picks and lose more games in the process.

There's a good chance we could end up with a top 3 pick and a star player to put next to Green and Rondo. Very deep class and the top 5-10 has a lot of star power. This was the perfect year for the Celtics to tank. I say sit Rondo til after the all star break if we can.

What do you guys think about Brad Stevens so far? Or is it far too early to have noticed any distinguishing characteristics? Word.

Too early in my book, but he hasn't done anything to piss me off. He does seem a little too quiet.

A top 3 lottery pick would mean we'd get at least Wiggins, Parker, or Randle. I think all will be stars in the NBA.

Interesting game last night. Since Crawford has been inserted the team is playing better. It seems Stevens really trusts Kelly O defensively. Bass is playing a step up this year. Solid player for sure. Jeff Green posterized Maxiel. Niccccceeee

That was a dirty dunk by Green, admittedly I didn't watch much of the game. (Couldn't take the first half, smoked too much, fell asleep) But I did catch the final minute while barely awake. Good win in Orlando

They played well. Its nice to see at least three players who will take the tough shots (Green, Kelly O, Crawford).

The team as a whole playing better than the parts. Brad has Green moving constantly. Maybe he is a smart coach?

Big win. Brad is showing me something early, even without our best player. Perhaps this season won't be as long as originally believed

I like what Wallace has meant to this young team. He challenged their effort and didn't complain when he was asked to come off the bench. I just wish we could find a taker for him and Humphries. Word.

If I'm ownership I'd toss in a 1st rounder to get his money off the books. Word.

I have a great feeling that Ainge will be able to unload both Humphries and Wallace at the deadline, boys. Whether the plan was to tank or not, we are going to have a great shot at the high lottery. And I echo L-Man's sentiment regarding Brooklyn. I am starting to root for them to be historically bad. Except I don't understand the Hawks involvement in the '14 pick... Word.

NO WAY would Ainge ever consider tanking.

He's made a few mistakes during his tenure, but will go all out to win every year.

You can question his judgement but not his motivation.

Crotch, Atlanta has the right in 2014 to trade their pick to the nets, straight up if they end up with a lower pick. The lower pick would be Boston's in that scenario.

It is possible at this point. So much for Brooklyn's pick. Maybe our own pick will be high lottery! Word.

Well some good has come from the young season.

Sully seems like he could be a legit 4 in this league. Maybe a little undersized and lacked the over the rim game, but he uses his big body to his advantage. I've been a big fan.

Jeff Green is showing everything I expected. He's had a few bad games, but for the most part he's dropped the 18-22 I expected him to average. He's our future 3 and will be a part of our next contender if he's not traded.

Still hoping we get a high lottery pick, but not sure at this point. Top 3 is starting to look unrealistic. If Rondo comes back sooner then later we can kiss a top 5 pick good bye.

Seeing how the Atlantic is, I wouldn't be surprised if the C's runaway with the Atlantic when Rondo comes back. Sad thing is, at that point they may very well be the 3rd best team in the East sans big 3.

If Rondo comes back in a month or less I'd guess we make the playoffs if Danny doesn't trade anyone, or anyone that important. Rondo, AB, Green, and Sully isn't that bad. We'd be a 6-8 seed in my mind.

I mean this would be the line up.

1. Rondo (AB and Crawford getting some minutes)
2. AB, Crawford, Lee
3. Green, Wallace
4. Bass/Sully/Humphries
5. Sully/Faverani/Olynyk

Nothing special, but probably a low playoff seed.
