The good thing about watching the Red Wings with my son is it is rather easy to explain the concept of "Go where the play is going" and "If you're in a jam, get the puck to an open space" to him.

Whoever the goalie coach is that is working with Mason has totally fucked up his mechanics. He's playing back too far, dropping WAY too early, and getting himself too turned around when the play passes behind him.

I didn't think so. But Ryan Johansen was making a pretty convincing case to come up, apparently. And when Carter got hurt...

Some are saying that they sent Calvert down to shield him from the locker room and "lazy habits". I wasn't sure about that until I saw Vinny's comments earlier.
