What is your bold prediction for the upcoming season? I am going to go way out on a limb & predict the Boyz field a Top 10 Defense......

Top 10 possible if the defense is healthy you add dynamic pass rusher hardy and Gregory and stick hybrid types like Jones and white at safety and corner. Hardy is an animal. Most ferocious de we have had since haley. Gregory and hardy don't hold back and want to kill the qb.

If the Boyz field a Top 10 Defense along with good health, I love our SB odds.

I'll say top 15D, top 10 to me is a reach.

Dallas was a middle of the road defense last year, with minimal talent. Add in Hardy, Lee, and a healthy Demarcus Lawrence for a full season to go with the rookies Gregory and Jones, and this team might have something. Not to mention Crawford is another year removed from a torn achilles tendon -- I watched Terrell Suggs recover from the same injury and he was light years better in year 2 of recovery than year 1.

I'm not going to call it a top 10 defense right now, but I won't be surprised if they are by years end. I will say that the D-Line will go from a bottom 5 unit to a top 5 unit this year, once we get everyone on the field -- that's my bold prediction.

I believe Dallas was 21 in D last season which I right where I and a few others said they'd be. I'd love to see a top 10 D in Dallas but I think that's wishful thinking. They have some very nice pieces but they are still a couple short IMO.

The Cowboys will get 40 sacks or more. The 3rd year is the year a team usually gets acclimated to a system and the proper personnel is in place after three years of bringing in players to fit in the scheme.

Agree with you. Hardy and Gregory should be set up nicely. Dallas has had a lot of 4th quarter leads the last few years, but not the pass rush to pin their ears back when teams try and throw their way into it. An offense that can score, a pass rush, and an OLine to help salt away leads in the 4th quarter...seems like the Cowboys had success with that script some years ago...

Is Randle the real deal? Adding Lee, Hardy, Gregory and Jones and another year older for Lawrence, Hitchens and Crawford is exciting for the D. If Randle can stay out of trouble and run like his talent suggests....

I seriously don't know how good Randle can be. He must be something for him to get in all this trouble and still not be cut.

At times it looks like Randle can find holes and accelerate threw them as fast or faster than Murray.

I see him having a very good year but the only concern is how much of a load can he carry. He does not have that Murray physique better suited to take a beating. With all the RB's hopefully they can the right balance.

I like Murray even if he is injury prone.

Randle shouldn't take as many of the hits Murray took because he won't look for the contact Murray did. Murray often tried to be the aggressor instead of avoiding the defender.
