what a great game we're having right now, this gives me a lot of hope

we're up 84-51 on Drake little over halfway throught the 2nd half

we've shot over 60 percent in every shooting category.

outrebounding

forcing turnovers, just all around a great game right now

this Drake team beat Iowa State who was supposed to be good this year

their losses are close losses to Ole Mrs and Virginia

so to completely dominate this team is impressive

our next game is against Indiana State who is right now looking to be the tournament team they were predicted to be.

just an awesome performance by us

but the MWC is going to be very tough, not one team in the conference can be pointed out as a scrub

this Indiana State team's only loss is to a solid Minnesota team

a win here would be huge

then we can start to think tournament hopes

we probably have to win out OOC to be hopeful of an at-large bid

then finish in the top half of the MWC, I suspect the MWC can get 4 bids this year

if we keep playing like this we should every game until January 25th, when we start a major 4 game stretch in MWC play, first game is at home against UNLV, then at home against what appears to be a pretty good Wyoming team, then an away game against San Diego State which we probably won't win, then at home against New Mexico.

we then get the three lower MWC teams again

then we finish with yet another major 4 game stretch against the same 4 teams, except the home games are now away and the away games are now at home

which means we're on the road against 3 tough teams to end the year, probably won't be able to make a run in the conference tournament so if we are to make the tournament this year it will have to be through an At-Large

we need to win out until January 25th, then we two of the 4 tough games in that stretch, then win out until the 2nd 4 game stretch where we should at least win one of those.

Long Beach State was our first chance but we lost by 10

Indiana State is our next big one

Iowa got Creighton some noise so that may be another big one there.

Denver is a team playing good basketball but is not at all getting recognized.

so they could hurt us since it's an away game.

Creighton beat SDSU 85-83 tonight. SDSU looked pretty darn good too but blew a 17 point first half lead
