If A&M can fire the buddy of the coach, defensive coordinator (read he was told to fire him to keep his job), Nebraska can do the same.

As someone posted, Pelini is now the one calling the defensive plays in. It was obvious, watching it this game. He makes them, pipes them upstairs, then the call comes back down. Papuchis is doing nothing but standing around.

Papuchis doesn't coach very well during practice when Bo is out shaking hands and kissing babies(much to his chagrin), and now Papuchis has had the keys taken away.

Papuchis has got to be out the door. If you cannot do the job, you gotta go. Papuchis cannot do the job.

In order for a D Coordinator to come here, Bo will have to let it go. The problem, Bo will not let any other system be implemented. Nebraska will not be able to bring a Pat Narduzzi type here unless Bo can give up control, and Bo won't.

How can Dobson stick around? The team conditioning is deplorable. Every game, four or five Nebraska players are hurt, whereas the other team hardly ever loses one player.

Beck. I guess he did good against Iowa. Ameer was only averaging 8 yards a carry, luckily, Tommy Armstrong hit those passes. Who cares that Tommy Armstrong picks a receiver and that is it. Missing Ameer? that was WIDE OPEN on the goal line and instead of throwing an incomplete pass into double coverage is not smart. Plus, the usual rocket passes when the guy is only 2 yards away. the QB is not developing. Martinez had to hire his own outside coach to sort of get better.

What is a QB rating when you are 0-3, one interception, and that interception is returned for a touchdown? Well, that is what Tommy Armstrong was early in the game.

Els, the only guy that has all four star recruits on the team, and none of them can play like a one star.

If all of that is truly necessary then Bo just needs to go to. That means he missed in his evaluation of basically the entire 2nd level of management.

I know. I just felt the need to say it is all.

It's all on Bop. He has every means to evaluate and make changes. He is the only individual below Eichorst with that power.

If an AD has to give an ultimatum to the head coach on retaining assistants then he shouldn't waste the time.
Just eliminate the one that is being paid to do it (Bo). It's not Eichorst's job to be micro-managing the football team, he just has expectations for the one delegated that authority and that's Bo.

Yea it's just that Bo's seat is as comfortable as anyone's in the country.

It is the belief of the big donors and the big sticks inside the Athletic Department that we just need to be patient.

I honestly do believe we will see Bo retire here. He ain't goin anywhere so I want to see him let some folks go.
